MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: DEAD RECKONING - PART ONE saw a very strong opening weekend with collections of 63 crore nett over five days. The film did very good numbers on Saturday and Sunday as collections jumped over the weekend.

The last MISSION IMPOSSIBLE film FALLOUT, which was released in 2018, picked up 36 crore nett with a traditional three day weekend and then went on to do over 80 crore nett business. This film can target that 80 crore nett number in the week though it depends on the holds over the weekdays. The weekend is the highest of the year for Hollywood but that is due to five days as FAST X did a similar number in four days. In true value FAST X is still the best weekend for Hollywood in India this year.

There have been five Hollywood films to hit the 100 crore nett mark post pandemic - AVATAR: THE WAY OF WATER, SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME, DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS, FAST X, THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER - and this should be the fifth though the Hollywood audience will get divided next week with the release of OPPENHEIMER.

The collections of MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: DEAD RECKONING - PART ONE over its extended first weekend are as follows.
Wednesday - 11,75,00,000 apprx
Thursday - 8,75,00,000 apprx
Friday - 9,25,00,000
