Actor-singer Piloo Vidyarthi, aka Rajoshi Vidyarthi, who was actor Ashish Vidyarthi’s first wife, has refuted all the speculations that the latter cheated on her. Ashish, 60, married entrepreneur Rupali Barua on Thursday (May 25).

“I am going bonkers with the interpretation people are having about us. This is not fair. Ashish never cheated on me. Even if people are thinking that all he wanted was to get married again, this is a false narrative,” says the actor, whose cryptic Insta posts led to the speculation.

She adds, “There was no torture, hardship or anything as people are speculating. We are two different people. For two years, we tried to go our separate paths and now he is doing great in his career. In my personal life, I have different needs. I cannot fill the goal of Mrs Vidyarthi now.”

She also revealed that the two filed a divorce “petition together” in October last year. “This was completely mutual,” mentions Piloo, who has a 23-year-old son, Arth Vidyarthi, with her former husband. Ashish had a registered marriage with Rupali in Kolkata.
