PATHAAN created history in Nizam/Andhra as it become the first Hindi film to collect over 50 crore nett which includes the Telugu version. It is the second non South film to go over 50 crore nett after AVATAR: THE WAY OF WATER collected a huge 70 crore nett in the circuit. The previous bests were BRAHMASTRA and AVENGERS: ENDGAME which were a little under 35 crore nett.
The Hindi collections of PATHAAN are just extraordinary as it was a huge 17 crore nett higher than DANGAL which is a margin of 80%. The film worked in the circuit and how but it also has a little do with circuit generally faring better for Hindi films and bigger films from Hollywood.
The numbers for most films seem to be better in the circuit as compared to before the pandemic. The bulk of the collections for Hindi films come from the Nizam area which seems to be doing well at present and KISI KA BHAI KISI KI JAAN can expect an out performance here on Eid.
The weekly collections of PATHAAN in Nizam/Andhra are as follows
Week 1 - 27,63,00,000 (9 Days)
Week 2 - 5,99,00,000
Week 3 - 2,48,00,000
Week 4 - 82,00,000
Week 5 - 52,00,000
Week 6 - 47,00,000
Week 7 - 13,00,000
Week 8 - 4,00,000
Week 9 - 1,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 38,09,00,000
Pathaan is miles ahead of the pack as can be seen below. The numbers look unbeatable but due to the circuit being strong there are likely to be many big action films going over 30 crore nett which was unthinkable a few years back.
The top ten films in Nizam/Andhra are as follows.
1. Pathaan - 38,09,00,000
2. Dangal- 21,12,00,000
