MRS CHATTERJEE VS NORWAY is sustaining pretty well at the box office as it collects around 18 crore nett till date and should comfortably cross the 20 crore nett mark. The 20 crore nett mark now is the benchmark for these low cost films now as before they could open 2-3 crore nett but now 1 crore nett has become the target.

Its about getting 1 crore nett up on the board on day one and going from there. There have been two films earlier which have gone the same way earlier ROCKTERY: THE NAMBI EFFECT and UUNCHAI. But the difference is those films that they were not really small  in terms of costs. So, those films needed to do better although they trended well at the box office.

MRS CHATTERJEE VS NORWAY is an under 30 crore film and is the second success post pandemic of a film in this bracket, the other being THE KASHMIR FILES and that was a different level altogether and also a different case. THE KASHMIR FILES proved to be a huge blockbuster but as mentioned, it is a different case and for most small films, average success itself is a big thing today.
