BHOLAA collected 16.50 crore nett in its second week taking its overall total to 69 crore nett. The drop is 70% from the first week which was eight days. So, considering the eight day week, the drop is actually not too bad with the problem being the first week did not collect much. This is a general industry problem with films just not doing the desired business in week one.
The lack of competition and a holiday today (Friday) should help the film in week three and it should have a better hold over the week as compared to week two. Delhi/UP remained the best circuit for the film in week two but business across Hindi mass circuits leaves a lot to be desired. The likes of CP Berar and CI may remain less than a film like TU JHOOTHI MAIN MAKKAAR which should not happen for a film like BHOLAA.
The film has really been boosted by collections from 3D cinemas which have got the best collections. The target for the film is to hit 80 crore nett.
The business of BHOLAA till date is as follows.
Week One -52,97,00,000
Friday - 3,15,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 3,75,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 4,50,00,000 apprx
Monday - 1,25,00,000 apprx
Tuesday - 1,25,00,000 apprx
Wednesday - 1,20,00,000 apprx
Thursday - 1,30,00,000 apprx
Second Week - 16,40,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 69,37,00,000 apprx
GUMRAAH had a poor first week as it collected around 5.75 crore nett. The film remains in cinemas in week two as the new releases have even less appeal than GUMRAAH.
