Are they dating? Are they old friends? Are they getting married? Gossip mills are working overtime after Parineeti Chopra and AAP MP Raghav Chadha were spotted together in Mumbai on a dinner outing on Wednesday, followed by a lunch meeting on Thursday. While the two have not acknowledged any of the rumours or questions, a source in the know informed us that there’s definitely something brewing.

“The two went for dinner recently after their families initiated discussions on marriage. They knew each other, liked each other and had common interests, and everything worked out well. Their families have known each other for some time,” the source told us, adding that there will soon be a formal announcement and a roka ceremony.

“There has been no formal ceremony yet, but the families are discussing it and there will be some ceremony soon. Both families are happy about the two being together, but fixing a date for any ceremony is difficult considering the two are busy with their respective schedules. The ceremony will be a small, intimate affair with close family members,” adds the source.

Some reports say that the two have known each other since they were both studying in the UK. Both Parineeti and Raghav attended the first India UK Outstanding Achievers award in London in January. They were among the 75 awardees at the event, which celebrated the achievements of Indian students who studied at British universities.
