Shah Rukh Khan On 'Permanent Balcony Ticket' - 5 Big Quotes From Team Pathaan
Box Office India Trade Network

PATHAAN (Hindi) crossed the $40 million benchmark in 14 days as it heads towards a $45 million total in overseas markets. The $50 million mark is probably going to be a tall order though 500 cr and $50 overseas makes for great numbers for the record books. Its never been done before and nothing has even come close.

The film is close to $15 million in US/Canada and it will go past the RRR number today (Wednesday) as it crosses $15 million. RRR had grossed $14.87 million in all formats and is the number one Indian film in US/Canada post pandemic

The Gulf total is also closing on in $12 million and this market has seen nothing like it. The worldwide number of the film is now 837 crore and it will easily cross 900 crore by the end of the third weekend.

The collections of PATHAAN worldwide are as follows.
India - 511 crore (425.75 nett)
Overseas - 326 crore ($40 million)
TOTAL - 837 crore (ALL TIME RECORD) (Baahubali 2: The Conclusion 802 cr, Dangal - 702 cr)

The worldwide numbers in all formats will be around the 850 crore plus mark and this is well off record levels but that is because PATHAAN is mainly for the core Hindi film markets and this genre made for Hindi audiences will not travel like a DANGAL.
----------------------------------------
PATHAAN has been smashing records all over the place and at many places it was beating the records of KGF - CHAPTER 2 and BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION within the first week. As far as original Hindi films go, there is just no comparison. The only original Hindi films that can compete are TANHAJI: THE UNSUNG WARRIOR in Mumbai and DANGAL in East Punjab and Tamil Nadu.

The circuits where PATHAAN has set RECORDS are below.

West Bengal (29 crore): Here, it crossed the business of BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION in around 13 days and is looking to be the first film ever to reach 30 crore nett in this circuit. The five day weekend was an insane 19 crore nett.

Assam (9 crore nett): EXTRAORDINARY performance here as it crossed crossed the business of KGF - CHAPTER 2 in just six days and will be the first film to hit 10 crore nett in the circuit. This circuit had huge potential as the top grosser was KGF - CHAPTER 2 but here, South films are not as strong as in other parts of East like Odisha and parts of Bihar.

Nizam/Andhra (32 crore): EXTRAORDINARY collections in Nizam/Andhra also as it beat the DANGAL (Hindi) record in just seven days. The film will be the second best non SOUTH film performer here after AVATAR: THE WAY OF WATER. It will be beat the business of the likes of BRAHMASTRA and AVENGERS: ENDGAME with just the Hindi version and will be looking at a total of 50 crore nett or near from all versions.

Mysore (28 Crore): ALL TIME RECORD in 15 days as it beat the numbers of DANGAL and is sure to become the first film to hit the 30 crore nett mark in this circuit. The film has retained excellent collections in week two and is the best contributor for South in week two.

Tamil Nadu/Kerala  (13.50 crore): The film has smashed all records in Kerala but remains less than DANGAL in Tamil Nadu. But this could be due to the weaker release as distributors continued with with the Tamil Pongal releases even though PATHAAN would have given better occupancy over the initial weekend.

The biggest circuit record for the will film will that 100 crore nett record in Delhi/UP which is around the corner. It will be the first century in Delhi/UP and and it remains to be seen how far above 100 crore the film goes.
