Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania tells a fascinating story and is an important film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as it introduces a new, powerful villain. Though some scenes are impressive, it also gives a been-there-done-that kind of feeling. This is especially in the action scenes. The last 20 minutes thankfully is better. But all the scenes before that fail to overall entice. Speaking of performances, Paul Rudd does very well but this time, the humour associated with his character is minimal. Evangeline Lilly (Hope) gets limited scope. Jonathan Majors (Kang) is fine as the villain. Kathryn Newton (Cassie) shines while Michelle Pfeiffer (Janet) puts up an impressive performance. Michael Douglas (Hank) is excellent, as expected. Bill Murray leaves a mark with his cameo. Katy O'Brian (Jentorra) is memorable. Corey Stoll looks weird and for the first time, the VFX in the Marvel film put me off. All in all, Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania is an average fare.
