Ajay Devgn remembers director Nishikant Kamat, says Drishyam 2
Box Office India Trade Network

DRISHYAM 2 is now the eighth highest grosser overseas post pandemic and it is likely to stay in that position as it ends its business at around the $6.75 million range. The biggest plus for this film is the business in Gulf as the results of VIKRAM VEDHA and this film seem to have put that market in a better position as it was struggling to collect.

The business of VIKRAM VEDHA and DRISHYAM 2 will be up there among with BRAHMASTRA, '83 and SOORYAVANSHI in Gulf. BRAHMASTRA remains the only film film to cross $2 million in Gulf but it should have done better and $2 million is not much of a total there if we go by the releases before the pandemic. Hopefully the change has come over the last two months and better results in Gulf can push over overseas numbers higher.

DRISHYAM 2 will probably end the second best performer for Ajay Devgn after GOLMAAL AGAIN beating the likes of TOTAL DHAMAAL and TANHAJI: THE UNSUNG WARRIOR though the latter had very average business in Overseas.
