DRISHYAM 2 is heading for another huge week as it collected 4 crore nett on its third Friday. The collections are only less than KGF - CHAPTER 2, RRR and THE KASHMIR FILES on the third Friday. There is BRAHMASTRA also but that was a one off due to cinema day and generally the DRISHYAM 2 third week will trend higher than that film.

The collections of DRISHYAM 2 on the the third Friday were comfortably higher than the combined collections of the new release AN ACTION HERO and the holdover BHEDIYA. Like last weekend, there should be huge growth over the third weekend. The total collections of the film are now almost 164 crore nett.

The film is a certified BLOCKBUSTER now and the fourth biggest HIT of the year after KGF - CHAPTER 2, THE KASHMIR FILES and RRR, The others being GANGUBAI KATHIAWADI, BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2, BRAHMASTRA and KANTARA. The question now is where the film will go now and its looks like 215 - 220 crore nett should at least be there and more that depends on what happens when the likes of AVATAR: THE WAY OF WATER and CIRKUS release.
