Mumbai: Some of the biggest purchasers of luxury apartments in Mumbai in recent times have been Bollywood stars. In a big-ticket deal, producer Boney Kapoor and his daughters Janhvi and Khushi purchased a duplex in Bandra (West) for Rs 65 crores.

According to CRE Matrix, the 8,669-square-foot bungalow (duplex) apartment with five car parks is in Kubelisque, a high-end residential tower at Union Park Road near Pali Hill. The seller is Kintu Bajaj, wife of builder Kishor Bajaj. The Bajajs also own a hospitality company that launched upmarket Chinese restaurants Hakkasan and Yauatcha in Mumbai.

The transaction was registered on October 12 and a stamp duty of Rs 3.90 crores paid by the buyers. A few months ago, Janhvi Kapoor sold her triplex apartment in Juhu for Rs 44 crores to her co-star Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa. Kapoor had bought the 3,400-sq-ft triplex in 2020 in JVPD for Rs 39 crores.
