RAM SETU collected 8.25 crore nett on day three taking its three day total to 34.25 crore nett. The film dropped 25% on day three and that was mainly thanks to Gujarat/Saurashtra which was down in the 10-15% range while elsewhere the drops were 30% plus. The film is now doing over 27% of its all India business in Gujarat.

The collections in Gujarat are good but nothing like SOORYAVANSHI or HOUSEFULL 4 which were the last two big Diwali releases. The business in Gujarat/Saurashtra till date is close to 6.50 crore nett. The film has higher numbers in Rajasthan than East Punjab and Rajasthan is the third biggest circuit for the film after Mumbai and Delhi.

The overall performance outside Gujarat and to a lesser extent UP, Bihar and Central circuits is very lackluster and has been like that from day one. There is likely to be another drop on Friday and then it remains to be seen if the film can jump on Saturday at the multiplexes. A double digit number on Saturday looks tough but on Sunday it may have a chance. It could also be that the weekend does not jump much as the weekend crowd may have come out over the holiday period.
