Brahmastra Director Ayan Mukerji On Fan Theories: 'We're Definitely Going To Use In Our Future'
Box Office India Trade Network

BRAHMASTRA (Hindi) had a very good second weekend of 37 crore nett which has taken the film to a running total of 180 crore nett. The second weekend was crucial for the film due to the lower business over weekdays but rock steady collections on the second Friday set it up for a strong weekend. The drop in Hindi is 64% from the first weekend which is very good for a film which opened so well.

The growth on Sunday was limited but that was sort of expected as it had seen crazy growth on Saturday and it has a huge ratio of business coming from centers which do not tend to grow on Sunday. The film could see drops over the weekdays as ticket pricing will be coming back to base level at the multiplexes and its likely that ticket pricing alone will be 25-30% lower than the weekend.

The film is now a HIT and the fifth one post the pandemic after SOORYAVANSHI, GANGUBAI KATHIAWADI, THE KASHMIR FILES and BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2. The film will put up post pandemic highs in all circuits except Mumbai and CP Berar for an original Hindi film.
