BRAHMASTRA (Hindi) had extraordinary growth on Saturday driven by Mumbai circuit which went up a crazy 85% on Saturday. The South also saw huge growth as the Hindi versions in Nizam/Andhra and Mysore as they grew around 75%. A mass circuit like CP Berar went up 70% which is pretty crazy for a single screen dominated circuit. The film collected 14 crore nett apprx on its second Saturday in Hindi.
Overall there was 70% growth for the Hindi version which is huge for a big film. Actually even many smaller releases have not been able to show this sort of growth post the pandemic on the second Saturday or in fact any Saturday, be it first, second or third. The film has come into its own in the second weekend and it may be the story of strong weekends and average weekdays due to the ratio of business coming from the bigger centres and also 3D version. This will probably be known by the results on Monday.
The collections now stand at around 168 crore nett for the Hindi version and there is Sunday to come which would add well though the growth on Sunday could be less than normal as Saturday as grown so much. Even on a worse case scenario it is looking at a 37 crore nett second weekend which is a very good number though hopefully it should be more.
The collections of BRAHMASTRA (Hindi) are as follows.
First Week - 1,46,25,00,000 apprx
Friday - 8,25,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 14,00,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 1,68,50,00,000 apprx
BRAHMASTRA also become the first film to cross 20 crore nett in languages driven by decent numbers in Telugu which alone will comfortably cross 20 crore nett in two weeks.
The collections of BRAHMASTRA in dubbed format are as follows.
Week One - 18,82,00,000
Friday - 50,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 80,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 20,12,00,000 apprx
