BRAHMASTRA (Hindi) did well on Wednesday as it collected around 9.25 crore nett for six day running total of almost 138 crore nett. The film behaved better on Wednesday as compared to Tuesday as the multiplexes held up better.

The film is going into that crucial period over the next three days (Thu - Sat) as this period will define its lifetime total. If it can hold up strongly on Thursday or Friday, it would be a good result for the film and then that big jump on Saturday has to come.

There is a huge open period over the next few weeks but that will only benefit BRAHMASTRA if it comes through this weekend with collections at a good level. The film is holding up best in Delhi/UP while collections in Nizam/Andhra will be the highest ever in a day or two. It has crossed the numbers of WAR and will cross DHOOM 3 anytime soon and DANGAL will probably be toppled on Saturday.

The collections of BRAHMASTRA (Hindi) are as follows.
Friday - 31,00,00,000
Saturday - 35,00,00,000
Sunday - 38,50,00,000
Monday - 14,00,00,000
Tuesday - 11,00,00,000
Wednesday - 9,25,00,000
TOTAL - 1,38,75,00,000

The five day total in all formats is around 157 crore nett across India as regional versions collect 18 crore nett in five days. It will be a 19 crore nett apprx week in regional.
------------------------------------
BRAHMASTRA (Hindi) has done good business in the first week as it collects over 146 crore nett. The film saw excellent business over the first weekend raking up over 100 crore nett without holiday support but the collections on the weekdays have been average.

There was a drop in collections on Monday and then it was normal trending barring the Tuesday where the film dropped more than it should have. Yet, the film had a healthy near 8 crore nett number coming on Thursday as even after drops the numbers remain solid due to the high starting point.

The next two days (Friday and Saturday) are crucial as these will basically determine where the film goes. The Mon - Thu collections of the film in Hindi have been almost ditto the collections of SOORYAVANSHI and if it can match or be similar to the numbers of the Akshay Kumar-starrer after the first week, then BRAHMASTRA will be a comfortable HIT. The first week ensure a success but now its about continuing to rack up the numbers over the next few weeks.

The collections of BRAHMASTRA (Hindi) are as follows.
Friday - 31,00,00,000

Tuesday - 11,00,00,000
Wednesday - 9,25,00,000
Thursday - 7,75,00,000
TOTAL - 1,46,50,00,000
