Filmmaker Ayan Mukerji has reacted to the backlash the words “love storiyaan” in the lyrics of the recently released song Kesariya, from his upcoming film Brahmastra, received.
Reacting to the trolling of the lyrics, he reportedly told Filmy Mirchi, “We put it with a lot of love, we found it very interesting. We did not find it like elaichi, we thought it was a twist like bahut shakkar me thoda namak jab aata hai, uska ek maza, ek swaad hai.”
Mukerji added, “Because the film is modern and the lyrics of the song are so traditional and simple, this would have been a fun twist. I still feel that in some time, people will actually start enjoying it even more.”
Ever since the song from the Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer came out, social media users have been making memes on those two words, asking makers to change it.
