SAMRAT PRITHVIRAJ will collect around 11 crore nett in its second week as it collects around 1 crore nett on its second Monday. The drop will be around 80% but that hardly matters as its fate was sealed a week ago as it fell on Monday.
The collections in the Mumbai/Thane and Pune belt have been awful and Mumbai circuit will remain under 20 crore nett despite a better performance in Gujarat/Saurashtra. The film continues to do reasonable business in some centres of UP. The 155-160 crore recovery of non theatrical revenue has come to the aid of the film in a big way and the industry would be in dire straits without these today.
These recoveries have meant minor losses or even plusses for practically all the films released post the pandemic even though they came a cropper at the box office. The only two which really felt the pinch were 83 and DHAAKAD as they did not get the required deals.
The collections of SAMRAT PRITHVIRAJ are as follows.
Week One - 54,47,00,000
Friday - 1,50,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 2,50,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 3,25,00,000 apprx
Monday - 1,00,00,000 apprx
Second Week - 8,25,00,000 apprx (4 days)
TOTAL - 62,72,00,000 apprx
