KGF - CHAPTER 2 (Hindi) had a fantastic hold on the fourth Friday as it collected 3.75 crore nett which is just 5% less than last week. There is still is some post Eid benefit film for the film in places like UP but slowly that will come down over the next two days. This could mean that growth on Saturday is not as strong as last week as the Eid areas will not go up but still it should be up on Saturday.

The film is cruising towards the 400 crore nett mark and now due to these fantastic collections in UP, it could beat the DANGAL lifetime number in Delhi/UP. East Punjab and Delhi/UP were the only circuits which going to fall below DANGAL but now they have a chance to reach DANGAL especially Delhi/UP. Mumbai could also challenge TANHAJI: THE UNSUNG WARRIOR as Gujarat/Saurashtra is far superior though Maharashtra is less than TANHAJI: THE UNSUNG WARRIOR.

There was huge competition this week with DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS but it has hardly affected KGF - CHAPTER 2 as mass markets are so strong. The states are doing remarkable business and going forward the films have to score in the like of Gujarat, UP, MP, etc as without it box office numbers are hard to come by going by the trend of the last six months.
