Heropanti 2 Review: Neither Tiger Shroff Nor Nawazuddin Siddiqui Can Salvage This Smashup
Box Office India Trade Network

HEROPANTI 2 collected a low 6.25-6.50 crore nett on its first day which is not good enough for an action film as they are frontloaded. The film had bulk bookings at multiplexes before release and the collections in multiplexes are mainly from these.

The film has done somewhat better in mass centres but that is not much of a task as multiplexes hardly witnessed footfalls on the day while in mass centres there will always be some people coming. However, a film like this needed much bigger crowds in the circuits on the first day.

The film does face a difficult task as these type of films don't show huge growth post the first day and the big Eid holiday is still a few days when it could get a bigger audience. But for that, the screens have to hold as KGF - CHAPTER 2 is targeting the same audience and has seen a drop in screen space in week three due to the new releases. So if HEROPANTI 2 does not sustain, then exhibitors will want to go back to KGF - CHAPTER 2 for Eid.

The opening is the lowest ever for Tiger Shroff, it is not the lowest in terms of numbers as A FLYING JATT opened lower in 2016 but in terms of footfalls or if you take out the bulk bookings then HEROPANTI 2 is the lowest. Overall its a dull Eid with HEROPANTI 2 and RUNWAY 34.
