JHUND has seen Monday and Tuesday collect similar to the first day at around 1 crore nett plus and take its total business to around 7 crore nett in five days. The collections of the film remain low but it is holding its collections due to Maharashtra.

The film has the bulk of its collections coming from Maharashtra. On Monday the collections here were better on Monday than Friday and that includes some of the Maharashtra cities which fall in CP Berar also. There was a film SATYA released way back in 1998 which became a HIT due to Maharashtra as it was a BLOCKBUSTER in Maharashtra matching the business of the biggest HIT of 1998 KUCH KUCH HOTA HAI in many cities of Maharashtra with help of tax exemption.

SATYA was a total washout in many circuits as was like a regional film but still managed to become a HIT due to Maharashtra. JHUND may not go that way in Maharashtra but it is possible to get somewhere if Maharashtra really works and holds up as its a big circuit.
