The Punjabi film AAJA MEXICO CHALLIYE is set to do well as it collects very well on Monday. The film is unlikely to be a big hit as it had a so so opening. But collections have held very well on Monday with collections pretty much similar to Friday.

There is a little boost as its a day before a holiday but even allowing for that the fall on fair value would be around 20-25%. The film should get a boost today (Tuesday) and the have a good steady run for a few weeks.

The market in Punjab generally has been lacklustre over the last 3 months be it Punjabi or Hindi films. It started well in when cinemas opened up in August but over the winter, the performances have been below expectations. But now with the Monday numbers of AAJA MEXICO CHALLIYE and GANGUBAI KATHIAWADI things are looking brighter.
