The Marathi film PAWANKHIND scored a big weekend as it collected in the 6.25-6.50 crore nett range. The film was released on around 525 screens and saw huge growth on Saturday. There have been a couple of Marathi films to have gone over 10 crore nett. SAIRAT, the biggest Marathi film, opened to around 11.50 crore nett in 2016.

There's 50% occupancy rule which affects the collections of the films in the single screens of Maharashtra as they can only do half their potential business. The weekend numbers are very good and going by Saturday the film should hold up very well.
