'83 (Hindi) is crawling towards the 100 crore nett mark as it collects a little over 98.50 crore nett after its fourth week. The fourth week added just 1.75 crore nett apprx which is a drop of 63% from the previous week.
The film should reach the 100 crore nett mark as there is still a few weeks left till new releases will come and '83 will remain in cinemas till then. It is being said that the Covid-19 threat in December is the reason of its failure but that is also the reason it is managing to get some collections in week four. If films like Jersey and RRR had released as planned, then there would have been no fourth week collections. This 1.75 crore nett has come because there is no competition in the market.
Irrespective of the low start it took the film should have benefitted from the open run like PUSHPA: THE RISE - PART 01 (Hindi) has but audience was not on side. The best performance for the film has come in circuits like Mysore and TNK.
The collections of 83 (Hindi) till date are as follows.
Week One - 67,83,00,000
Week Two - 24,29,00,000
Week Three - 4,74,00,000
Week Four 1,75,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 98,63,00,000 apprx
