'83 (Hindi) finally hit the 100 crore nett mark after five weeks after it collected 1.4-1.5 crore nett in week five. The collections did not drop much in week five as they were at a very low level already and there is no competition. Also, week five had a bonus of a national holiday for Republic Day on Wednesday.
The film should get advantage of cinemas reopening in the Delhi NCR belt this week which should mean another steady week. But the battle was long lost on Christmas Day when the rejection was pretty clear with limited growth. There has been no notable release in any language post '83 but the film has hardly added 14 crore nett post the Christmas/New Year holiday period which finished 10 days after its release.
The total from all languages is around 105 crore nett with around 5 crore nett business from the regional versions.
The collections of 83 (Hindi) till date are as follows.
Week One - 67,83,00,000
Week Two - 24,29,00,000
Week Three - 4,74,00,000
Week Four - 1,68,00,000
Week Five - 1,45,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 1,00,01,00,000 apprx
