PUSHPA: THE RISE - PART 01 (Hindi) has emerged the second Hindi HIT after SOOORYAVANSHI post the pandemic as it collected 2.50 crore nett apprx on its second Friday. The drop is only 25% from day one despite a huge release like '83 and in Maharashtra and Gujarat there is no drop as collections remain similar to day one. The drop has mainly come from North India which is expected.

This takes the film to over 29 crore nett and the film is on course for a minimum of 50 crore nett and this could even go to 60 crore nett. There is no stopping this film in Maharashtra and Gujarat where it was matching and beating the numbers of '83 at some cinemas. The film has turned out a HIT in Hindi despite the original version in Telugu not doing well at the box office.

PUSHPA: THE RISE - PART 01 (Hindi) has the Christmas period to help though as a huge ratio of business is coming from mass pockets it may not get the sort of boosts that a multiplex films does over the period. Still the job is done and Mumbai will cruise to the 20 crore nett plus mark while CP Berar could even go to 7 crore nett which are phenomenal numbers.

PUSHPA: THE RISE - PART 01 (Hindi) is becoming a mini sensation in the Maharashtra and Gujarat belts. In fact in Maharashtra the film can be called a mini TANHAJI: THE UNSUNG WARRIOR which is one of the biggest HITS ever in the state. If we take the Mumbai and CP Berar which compromise of Maharashtra and Gujarat, then the first day here was around 1.55 crore nett and day six and day seven were doing more than 1.55 crore nett.

Now on day eight, there is competition from '83 but still the film will rake up a number in the 1.50-1.75 crore nett in the region if not a little more. In both states (outside metros Mumbai city and Pune) on day eight its running toe to toe with 83 despite being on day eight. Infact, many cinemas were recording better collections than 83. The film is going to keep on doing strong numbers in these areas due to the way the film is sustaining.

The Sunday number in Gujarat/Saurashtra is going to huge again though restrictions due to Covid-19 may take edge of the collections but there is a good chance that the circuit will scoring over 83 on Sunday. The collections of the film will drop a little more in other places but its pretty certain now that PUSHPA: THE RISE - PART 01 (Hindi) is a HIT thanks to the phenomenal run in Maharashtra and Gujarat.
