ANTIM - THE FINAL TRUTH had a so so first day of 4.50 crore nett amd if it can grow well then it will be a decent first day number. If you look at it from the fact it was attempted to be promoted as a Salman Khan film, then the collections are low but they are not too bad from the actual film point of view which is non cast and regional.

The film was going to struggle to get an audience outside Maharashtra and that is pretty much what has happened with circuits like East Punjab and West Bengal showing very dull collections. The trailer gave the film that local Maharashtra feel and that is where it has done best. CPCI is decent and Nizam/Andhra is also very good.

The film was a part of a three film deal for RADHE which included ANTIM - THE FINAL TRUTH and KAAGAZ and the value of ANTIM - THE FINAL TRUTH was around 15% which would be around 30-35 crore and this was to be covered by digital and satellite.

Obviously they have probably extended the role of Salman Khan and packaged the film to get some results in theatres but at the end of the day the film remains the same film and regional in content which does not justify a star like Salman Khan. 

The collections on day one have come due to Salman Khan and now if the film can grow and get a 15-20 crore theatrical share, it would be a decent result for a film where probably nothing much was expected theatrically. But the question is can the film grow as outside Maharashtra and maybe some stations of the central belt it will find it hard to get appreciation.

ANTIM - THE FINAL TRUTH had a decent second day collecting 5.50 crore nett which is 15% more than the first day. The growth is not huge but these sort of films are not expected to show much growth and here a film which got far higher collections than it should due to an extended Salman Khan guest role could have easily dropped.

The film is doing best in Maharashtra and Nizam/Andhra with the latter actually doing HIT business with very good business over the first two days. The growth on Saturday came in most areas and crucially both Mumbai and Delhi/UP went up. Gujarat showed solid upturn of around 40-50% as the first day was on the lower side.

The Saturday business also sees ANTIM - THE FINAL TRUTH become the only film to cross 5 crore nett in a single day outside SOORYAVANSHI post the pandemic. The two day numbers are 10.25 crore nett and there should be some solid growth on Sunday and if Monday holds, then ANTIM - THE FINAL TRUTH may emerge a successful film.

ANTIM - THE FINAL TRUTH scored a decent weekend as it collected 18 crore nett over its first three days. A film which is essentially a non cast film with a Salman Khan cameo was packaged like a Salman Khan to get a bigger audience in has eventually showed 70% growth from Friday to Sunday and that is the victory of the film.

The awareness today about cinema is too high with the audience to get the sort of initial that the industry expected though obviously the cameo probably more than doubled the collections of the film. The fear then is always then that collections may not sustain as the audience has not really come for the film but for the star but here the weekend has pulled through well.

This is a film about the Mumbai underworld and so the appeal mainly lies in Maharashtra and the film is doing well there be it Mumbai circuit or CP Berar. The best performance is Nizam/Andhra as Hyderabad and Marathawada do very well. North India is so so but that is expected with underworld films.

Now it is about the Monday hold and the film has to show a fall of under 50% which will give it a nice little run at the box office for a few weeks.

ANTIM - THE FINAL TRUTH has held very well on Monday showing a drop of around 36% from Friday with collections of 3 crore nett. The trend is very good for Monday especially for an action film. The holds were very good in all mass pockets especially Maharashtra and Gujarat.

This takes the film to 21 crore nett and now it will have a decent first week total of 28 crore nett plus and this hold also means the film will have a run for 3-4 weeks. There is going to be competition every week in December but it still has a chance of crossing 40 crore nett and that is a result for a film which had noting much going for it pre release barring an extended role by Salman Khan.

This numbers remain good in Mumbai circuit which is over 7 crore nett and Nizam/Andhra is excellent as business is over 2 crore nett. CP Berar is also good with business almost touching the 1.50 crore nett mark. The numbers in Delhi/UP and East Punjab are less impressive but nevertheless these places have held on well on Monday though at their lower levels.
