VENOM: LET THERE BE CARNAGE has emerged the top Hollywood opener post the second lockdown as it edges out the numbers of SHANG-CHI AND THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RINGS. The film is performed a little lower in the South than SHANG-CHI AND THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RINGS especially Tamil Nadu but it is outside the South especially Delhi/UP.

The Hollywood releases have been getting good advances due to 3D and Imax screenings but the opening in the morning leaves a lot to be desired and this has been there for all major films since TENET last year. VENOM: LET THERE BE CARNAGE here got the benefit of evening shows with next day being a holiday.

A 3 crore nett figure did not seem like a possibility in the morning but that holiday factor pushed it in the evening.

The top collections for Hollywood since August have been as follows and the four films below are the only ones to cross 2 crore nett.
