VENOM: LET THERE BE CARNAGE scored the highest weekend for Hollywood post the second lockdown as it recorded collections of 12 crore nett over the four day extended weekend. The four day collections are almost at the level of BELLBOTTOM with difference being the strong collections of BELLBOTTOM of Gujarat on Sunday.
The weekend of SHANG-CHI AND THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RINGS was 10.25 crore nett but that over three days and that film did around 25 crore nett lifetime and VENOM: LET THERE BE CARNAGE will have a chance to surpass that depending on the Monday hold. It actually should surpass as it will see a Mumbai and Pune release next week which will add to its collections.
The first weekend collections of VENOM: LET THERE BE CARNAGE are as follows
Thursday - 2,75,00,000
Friday - 3,25,00,000
Saturday - 3,00,00,000
Sunday - 3,00,00,000
TOTAL - 12,00,00,000
The Telugu film MOST ELIGIBLE BACHELOR did well over its first weekend as it collected around 18 crore nett across India. The collections are lower than the top Telugu opener of recent months LOVE STORY but, still its a solid weekend. The problem may well be the holds down the line which was seen even by LOVE STORY.
The first weekend collections of MOST ELIGIBLE BACHELORacross India are as follows.
Friday - 7,25,00,000
Saturday - 6,00,00,000
Sunday - 4,75,00,000
TOTAL - 18,00,00,000
