Actor Manoj Bajpayee’s father, R K Bajpayee, has been hospitalised in Delhi due to age related health issues. He was in critical condition at the time of going to press. The actor, who was in Kerala shooting for filmmaker Abhishek Chaubey’s next, near Kochi, halted his shoot and rushed to Delhi to see his father, who is 83, on Friday.

“His father’s condition is quite critical. After hearing the news Manoj rushed to Delhi from Kerala, where he was shooting for his next project, to see his father and be with his family,” a source close to the actor confirmed.

There is no information about the reason behind the hospitalization. “Manoj is guarded about his family and he does not want to share anything right now as this is a very tough time for him and his family,” the source added.
