Deepika Padukone, who stepped into Hollywood in 2017, has signed her second international venture. While her first project, xXx: Return of Xander Cage opposite Vin Diesel, was an action film, this time around, the actress will be a part of a cross-cultural romantic comedy. She will also be producing the film, which is being currently developed.

Deepika stepped into production with Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak and is also on board as producer for the remake of the Hollywood film The Intern as well as '83, which has her working with her husband, Ranveer Singh. She recently wrapped up Shakun Batra’s film and has another project opposite Hrithik Roshan, helmed by Siddharth Anand, among her upcoming movies.
