Still enjoying the success of The Family Man 2, Sharib Hashmi is already gearing up for his next—Dhaakad. Having wrapped up his portions in the Kangana Ranaut-starrer, he says, “All I can say is that I play a Bhopali.” 

Interestingly, it is not Hashmi’s first collaboration with the director. “Razneesh 'Razy' Ghai is an old friend. We’ve worked together in MTV for four years. It was a proud moment to see him direct his maiden film,” says the actor. 

Ask him if he auditioned for the role, Hashmi says, “Although I tested for the role, it was a formality. It was already decided that I would play the part because he had written the role with me in mind.”
