Ayushmann Khurrana, in his Father’s Day post, revealed the reason behind the double Ns and Rs in his name. Also, the actor and his brother Aparshakti Khurana spell their last name differently. Ayushmann, who shared some throwback pictures with his dad, P Khurrana, credited the latter for his interest in music, art and poetry. He wrote, “We got it from him. The discipline. The love for music, poetry, films and art. He studied law but was always intrigued by astrology. He’s the reason behind the double Ns and double Rs in my name. At the same time, he also taught us that we have the ability to carve out our own destiny and our good karma can supersede any soothsayer. My friend, philosopher and guide. My father (sic).”

On a contemplative note, he added, “Bachpan mein papa ki lagayi paabandiyon ko todne mein bahut mazaa aata tha. Aur ab bade ho kar khud pe lagayi paabandiyaan todi nahi jaati.” Aparshakti, also shared a witty message on social media on the occasion. “Well!! Pura Chandigarh jaanta hai MERA BAAP KAUN HAI and he has worked hard for it. Thank you papa for blessing me with your energy and laughter and so much more #HappyFathersPapa. P.S — the dialogue doesn’t sound arrogant today (sic).”
