Last year was not that great for anyone, but for Elli AvrRam, even though 2020 was a dull year, there were a few positives that helped her in life. “2019 was terrible [year for me] and extremely emotionally tough because my brother was diagnosed with brain tumour. My brother is everything for me. That’s when my deep journey started in terms of questioning life. By the beginning of 2020, we received good news and it lead to brighter days for us. So, my 2020 has been all about gratitude and enjoying every single moment in life,” she shares.
AvRam, 30, who was seen in Kis Kisko Pyar Karoon (2015), states that Bollywood is not an easy industry to sustain. “It’s extremely difficult. I feel, everyone who manage it should get a separate award for it. You have to be so strong mentally and physically to be able to carry on and not give up,” she says, adding, “Personally, there have been times where I’ve felt I can’t do it anymore, and that’s only because I don’t have my family here. When family is physically around, it’s easier to go through struggles, but alone it’s much harder.”
The Malang (2020) actor believes that OTT platforms has been a boon for actors. “For actors, I will say, yes, it has given many talented actors an opportunity to show what they truly are about. We are discovering some great performances by actors, who normally never got much of a chance,” she concludes.
