SURAJ PE MANGAL BHARI, which was the first Hindi film to release on 15th November 2020 after the reopening in cinemas, is continuing to run till today. The screen count was cut with the release of ROOHI but the film had managed to play on 100 or almost 100 screens till the release of ROOHI every week.

The overall collections are not much but the film has managed to sustain at those levels. There were films like TENET, WONDER WOMAN 1984 and VIJAY THE MASTER which had similar releases to SURAJ PE MANGAL BHARI but these did not get the sustained run of SURAJ PE MANGAL BHARI. In fact SURAJ PE MANGAL BHARI in week seventeen was grossing more than the three films combined which were in week 14, week 11 and week 8 respectively.

SURAJ PE MANGAL BHARI had a reductions of screens with the release of ROOHI and week eighteen will mean the sustained similar collections for weeks will be no more and it will finish with final business in the 5 crore nett range. The film got a jump in week fourteen due to Valentines Day and although this fell on Sunday the film saw far higher collections on this day than the rest of the week.
