Mumbai Saga Review: John Abraham, Emraan Hashmi's Blood-Spattered Tale Could Have Used A Rescue Act
Box Office India Trade Network

MUMBAI SAGA collected 2.75 crore nett on day one despite restrictions and the film did manage to grow in the evening where there were shows. Thew collections are pretty similar to what ROOHI did on Mahashivratri last week and a good bulk of the business has come out of the bigger multiplexes

This is because it got the widest release outside multiplexes as a few cinemas across the country opened up for the film and the numbers in these places are decent considering they have hardly seen any collections in a year. The film has been hit in Mumbai circuit by restrictions but it still beat the number ROOHI did last week on Mahashivratri.

The film would have got a healthy number in Maharashtra if it was not for these restrictions as the places playing the film saw the best numbers in the evening and night shows with many single screen shows should good numbers and even some full houses (at 50% occupancy).

The Delhi/UP number is a little lower than ROOHI but that is expected as this film holds less appeal in the Delhi NCR marlet. In the UP state,  it has performed better than ROOHI at some stations. The film will suffer in the weekend due to further restrictions at places which will lead to cinemas being closed over the weekend.
