Recently, Amazon Prime Video announced its Original Series Hush Hush (working title), led by an all women cast and crew. A coming-of-age series, it promises to be a drama that navigates through emotions of passion, deceit, power and survival in society.

Featuring a stellar star cast, the show will have Juhi Chawla and Ayesha Jhulka making their digital debut. Pushing female narratives to the fore, the series features some fine talent like Soha Ali Khan, Karishma Tanna, Shahana Goswami, and Kritika Kamra among others.

Propelling the movement of women telling their own stories forward, the all-women crew behind the camera, includes Shikhaa Sharma as executive producer and original story, Kopal Nathani as the episode director, and National Award-winning writer, Juhi Chaturvedi as dialogue-writer for the series, which is written by Ashish Mehta.

“It’s what directors like me have waited for,” says Tanuja Chandra, creative director and executive producer. “Both Amazon Prime Video and Abundantia Entertainment, have been bringing diverse and authentic women’s stories to audiences in India and abroad for a while now. I’m thrilled to join forces with them for Hush Hush to create something that I hope will be truly special,” she adds.

Produced by Vikram Malhotra’s Abundantia Entertainment, the series features an almost all-female crew, right from production designer, costume designer, supervising producer, co-producers, to art, production coordination and even the security team.
