The pandemic has expectedly wreaked havoc in the schedules of actors and films. The latest project to suffer due to delays is Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani-starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

After director Anees Bazmee hit the brakes on the shoot in March 2020, the unit was expected to resume work in October, which was subsequently pushed to December. In the latest development, it is heard that the cast has been given revised dates for January-end. But the fresh schedule has posed a fresh problem - Tabu, who plays an integral role in the horror-comedy, is unavailable for the required dates.

A unit hand reveals, "Due to the date issues, Tabu was in the process of exiting the project. However, the makers are keen to retain her and are reworking the schedule to accommodate her. The shoot, which was to commence later this month, followed by a short stint in Lucknow, has now been tentatively pushed to July 2021. The new dates will be finalised soon."
