After making his Bollywood debut as Tiger Shroff’s friend in Student Of The Year 2, Abhishek Bajaj will be seen as a baddie in Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, which features Ayushmann Khurrana and Yami Gautam in the lead. The film, which has Ayushmann playing a cross-functional athlete, wrapped up its shooting in Chandigarh recently.

A unit hand told BT, “Abhishek will play the baddie in the film. Ayushmann and he bonded over their Punjabi background, and even worked out together at times. Since they couldn’t exercise in gyms due to the pandemic, they would sweat it out on the set with Punjabi songs playing in the background. In fact, Ayushmann’s trainer often guided Abhishek. The shoot commenced in October and everyone was careful about maintaining social distancing and following Coronavirus protocols.”

Abhishek has featured in TV shows like Bitti Buisness Wali, Hitler Didi and Dil Deke Dekho.
