Krishna Shroff, who’s a fitness enthusiast much like her actor brother Tiger Shroff, recently hit headlines when she announced her separation from long-time beau basketball player Eban Hyams. She went on to delete all of their pictures as a couple from her Instagram profile and seems to be moving ahead positively. In an exclusive interaction with ETimes, Krishna opened up for the first time about her break-up.

How is the single life treating you?
It’s actually been amazing. I love the fact that I can focus solely on myself and my businesses now without any distractions or the drama a relationship tends to bring.

Your break-up with Eban got a lot of attention, given that you both were very open about your relationship. Do you want to share what prompted you to go separate ways?
There were many things that eventually led to it, but I’ll keep that private. We both just realised we would be better off as friends as opposed to being in a relationship, so it wasn’t very messy of a break-up at all.

Are you guys in touch, we keep seeing his comments on your Instagram posts...
Yeah, but just not as much anymore. I’ve never had an issue being friends with my exes... usually they have a problem with it.

Are you open to dating again?
I honestly haven’t even thought about that yet since it’s only been a little over a month since my break-up. I’m really enjoying this time to myself and doing the things I love and want to. It’s been refreshing.

What’s your go to break-up song and movie?
I don’t have any. I’m not one to dwell on s**t that happens. I just move on and make the best out of every situation.

What are your three wishes for 2021?
I just want the world to heal up, then we’ll take it from there. I really believe 2021 is going to be my year.
