Padmini Kolhapure’s son, Priyaank Sharma, who made his debut as an actor this year with Sab Kushal Mangal, will be tying the knot with long-time steady date Shaza Morani next year. “They have known each other since they were kids. They were in school together and stayed together in New York while pursuing higher studies. They have been in a relationship since 16 years and over the last few months, decided to make it official,” a source close to the family told Mirror.
The couple will have a registered court marriage towards the end of February 2021, followed by a traditional Indian wedding in March. “They are yet to finalise the venue for the wedding but both families are looking for a place on the outskirts of the city. It’s going to be an intimate affair with just family and close friends,” the source added.
The traditional wedding will be followed by a white wedding, with the bride and groom dressed in white, walking down the aisle hand-in-hand to exchange vows. “Both have been dreaming of a white wedding and will be living that dream in March,” the source shared.
Both families are excited about the upcoming wedding and have had several meetings over the last few months. Shaza is producer Karim Morani’s daughter and was an assistant director on Shah Rukh Khan’s Happy New Year. She aspires to be a director some day. Priyank’s father, Pradeep Sharma, has produced many films while his mother is an actress from the ’80s. He is Shraddha and Siddhant Kapoor’s cousin.
