That Raveena Tandon is an animal lover is known. She has rescued stray animals on numerous occasions and found them homes. The actress, who was shooting for an upcoming web show in Himachal Pradesh, recently rescued 10 puppies. Raveena fostered these little ones since they needed to be looked after as they weren’t in a good condition.
A pet lover, Raveena ensured that nine of the 10 pups got a house of their own, while one was adopted by the actress herself. Talking about the same, she says, “It’s our duty to help our voiceless fellow inhabitants of this planet in every possible way. I’ve been fostering these pups here in Dalhousie and Manali. I am really excited to have one of them home with me.”
She further added, “A lot of my friends buy pups from breeders, and I discourage them from doing so as they use their female dogs as breeding machines. It affects the health of the mother and pups. It’s always better to adopt an Indie (local dogs), as they are strong and need a home.” On the work front, she will be next seen in KGF: Chapter 2 alongside South superstar Yash.
