After serenading music lovers with her voice, Shirley Setia will now showcase her acting skills. And guess what? She won’t be making one, but two simultaneous debuts in two different industries. While Shirley will be stepping in Bollywood with Nikamma, the pretty actress has now been signed on to play the lead in a Telugu film, which will mark her entry into the Telugu film industry as well.

Sharing the news on social media, Shirley wrote, “I am super excited to announce my launch in the Telugu film Industry with Naga Shaurya, directed by Aneesh Krishna and produced by Usha Mulpuri Garu under banner Ira Creations (sic).”

The singer-actress happens to be one of those few heroines, who will make consecutive debuts in two different film industries with separate projects within one year. Sabbir Khan’s Nikamma has her playing Abhimanyu Dassani’s romantic interest, while she will be seen opposite Naga Shaurya for the first time in the yet-to-be-titled Telugu movie. The music of the film, which is expected to go on floors soon, will be composed by Mahati Swara Sagar.

Come 2021, and it will be a time for a double celebration for Shirley. With her grit and passion, this young talent is all set to turn heads in both the film industries.
