After reports emerged saying that Sushant Singh Rajput was paying the EMIs for Ankita Lokhande’s house, the actress shared her bank statements with the EMIs clearly marked

Ankita Lokhande took to social media to share copies of her bank statements, after reports emerged claiming that Sushant Singh Rajput, her ex boyfriend, was paying EMIs for her flat.

“Here I cease all the speculations. As transparent as I could be. My Flat’s Registration as well as my Bank Statements (01/01/19 to 01/03/20) highlighting the emi’s being deducted from my account on monthly basis. There is nothing more I have to say (sic),” Ankita wrote on Twitter and posted copies of her bank statement from January 2019 to March 2020.

Ankita’s tweet came hours after a report stated that Sushant was paying instalments worth Rs. 4.5 crore for a flat in Malad, where Ankita supposedly resides. The report, which emerged Friday evening, stated that they received this information from sources at the Enforcement Directorate (ED).

Meanwhile. the California State Assembly has recognised Sushant for his efforts to promote India’s culture and heritage and his immense contributions to Indian cinema. In a certificate of recognition, the Assembly noted Rajput’s “immense contributions to Bollywood cinema” and appreciated his “community work as well as his efforts to promote India’s rich culture and heritage”, the picture of which was shared by his sister Shweta Singh Kirti.
