TANHAJI: THE UNSUNG WARRIOR collected an insane 1.25 crore nett apprx in week eight and it is very rare for a film to collect over 1 crore nett in week eight. There have been only three films since 2010 to have a collection of more than 1 crore nett in week eight and they are URI, BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION and PADMAAVAT. TANHAJI: THE UNSUNG WARRIOR is the fourth film.
The film has now collected 268.75 crore nett and still remains in cinemas in Maharashtra. So the final total will be close to 270 crore nett. The shocking fact is that the film has done just average business in many circuits but has still put up this huge final total. This type of historic success of the film in Maharashtra may not be seen for a long time to come. The footfalls in Maharashtra crossed 1 crore which have only been done by GADAR (2001) and BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION (2017) in the last two decades.
The collections of TANHAJI: THE UNSUNG WARRIOR till date are as follows.
Week One - 1,15,28,00,000
Week Two - 77,87,00,000
Week Three- 38,48,00,000
Week Four - 19,31,00,000
Week Five - 8,90,00,000
Week Six - 5,07,00,000
Week Seven - 2,56,00,000
Eighth Week - 1,25,00,000 apprx
