ANGREZI MEDIUM was being screened in Maharashtra, UP, Haryana, West Bengal and Chandigarh and Tamil Nadu only on Monday and the collections were always going to be low as it was just being screened in two metros - Kolkata and Chennai - and the latter is pretty irrelevant as far as Hindi film business in concerned.

The film has not been able to cross the 9.50 crore nett mark and now it will not be playing in any thaetres from Tuesday as all theatres across the country will close till the end of the month. The film could return to theatres when they open up but the film has not really worked going by centres which had a clean weekend and so when it does return, there will not be much hope for strong collections.
