ANGREZI MEDIUM had a poor weekend of 9 crore nett as the film got hit by Coronavirus scare which has led to more and more states closing down cinemas since Friday when only Delhi, Jammu and Kerala was shut. The difference is that on Monday, the film is only being screened in parts of Maharashtra, UP, Haryana, West Bengal and Chandigarh and Tamil Nadu.

There is no chance that a film can do much in this scenario and the collections are pretty much irrelevant as they tell nothing. The places like Gurgaon, Noida and Chandigarh which would have been the best markets for the film don't tell much either as despite remaining open all weekend they just don't have that normal trend with limited Saturday growth. This is likely due to the Corona effect. There is a good chance that the collections will be in single digits on Monday considering the number of theatres playing the film on Monday.
