COMMANDO 3 did pretty well on Saturday as it collected 5.50-5.75 crore nett taking its two day total to 10.50 crore nett apprx. It is a solid Saturday growth for this type of film and the mass circuits have not dropped much which is a plus. The likes of Bihar and CP Berar which are single screen dominated have the same collections as day one.
The film can follow this Saturday growth with a good jump on Sunday and if this happens then the film may turn out be the first success for the franchise in terms of theatrical business. COMMANDO and COMMANDO 2 have done very well on television but none of the films have even reached the 25 crore nett mark in terms of box office collection but this film has a good chance to set a new benchmark for the franchise.
The collections of COMMANDO 3 till date are as follows.
Friday - 4,75,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 5,75,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 10,50,00,000 apprx
HOTEL MUMBAI showed growth of around 75% but considering a poor Friday and a big release in the metro multiplexes for this type of film it should really have been doubling up or maybe even more.
The collections of HOTEL MUMBAI are as follows.
Friday - 1,00,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 1,75,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 2,75,00,000 apprx
