Sobhita Dhulipala says that she is ready to experiment with fashion and take risky decisions much like her film choices

Made In Heaven, a web series on weddings and the complexities of relationships, became a game changer, not only for the Hindi entertainment industry but also for Sobhita Dhulipala. Besides her histrionic skills, the actor has also been credited for her sartorial choices. Initially, a model, the actor believes that fashion has evolved over the years. She says, “I genuinely love and enjoy fashion. But fashion and storytelling need not go together. I shouldn’t have to wear unrealistic clothes for my characters. There’s a side to me that enjoys dressing a certain way, and I don’t like them coming in each other’s way.”

Sobhita was hailed for her portrayal of a complex character with impeccable fashion sensibilities on the show. Moreover, her social media accounts are testimony to the fact that she has become quite a ‘fashionista’. Ask her about it, and she says with a laugh, “That’s a very heavy title!” She continues, “Earlier, I wasn’t confident about sticking to my instincts. Even if I would be given clothes and even if they didn’t go with my personality, I would accept them thinking that the stylists know better. But now, I don’t know if I’ve become more confident but the fact that we live only once makes me wear whatever I want to. I want to experiment. If I don’t take risks, I’m not happy, be it movies or clothes or career choices. A little danger and little complexities are comforting for me.”
