After sharing screen space with Rajkummar Rao in Judgementall Hai Kya, Amyra Dastur is reuniting with the actor for Mikhil Musale’s directorial debut, Made In China. The actress recently shot for a song sequence with Raj and another co-star, Boman Irani, in Ahmedabad. Titled “Sanedo”, the Gujarati folk song, was shot inside a haveli on the outskirts of the city in 24 hours.

According to Amyra, Mikhil wanted to shoot the song at a real location and the haveli was available for only one day. “The entire team raced against time to wrap up filming within the allotted time,”Amyra shares, adding that the song is a pacy number. She goes on to add that despite the tight deadline, it was a blast shooting for the song. What’s more, she also got to rap for it. “I have never lip-synced to rap, so this was new for me,” she says, adding, “But my director and co-stars were helpful, and we managed to get everything done on time.”

Amyra, who reportedly plays a pivotal character in the film, will be seen in a desi avatar and is looking forward to the feedback to her character. “I play a modern working woman in Gujarati saris,” she smiles.
