The actress has started prepping for her next, a coming-of-age, woman-centric film that goes on the floors in three weeks

After the Shahid Kapoor co-starrer Kabir Singh, which was set in the Capital, Kiara Advani is moving on to her next. With the Abir Sengupta-directed coming-of-age film Indoo Ki Jawani, the actress will be seen in a woman-centric film after five years since her debut with Fugly.

According to a source close to the development, the film, which is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Nikkhil Advani, Niranjan Iyenger and Ryan Stephen, goes on the floors in mid-October. Kiara recently started prepping for her role. “Indoo, a girl from Ghaziabad, is an unusual character for Kiara. Besides the look, she will also be working on her speech to get the Ghaziabad lingo right,” the source informed.

The story revolves around Indoo’s tryst with online dating after a breakup and how things unfold when she swipes-right on Aditya Seal’s character. While the team is currently in the process of finalising locations, Lucknow is one of the places they are likely to shoot in. “The rest of the spots will be locked in a week. Kiara and Aditya recently gave their look tests during which their easy camaraderie came through,” the source shared.
